3. Louisiana GED Testing Requirements

 

 

  • You haven’t gained a secondary education diploma (high school or equivalent credential) 
  • You haven’t registered in any educational program. 
  • You must be at least 16 years old to qualify for taking the GED Louisiana test. Candidates who are 16 to 18 years old must be withdrawn from Louisiana’s K–12 system, furnish an approved age waiver as well as get consent from their parents. Additionally, they need authorization by a WorkReady U literacy program and reach the passing score on the half-length HSE practice test.
