3. GED registration process

Step 2: Pay for the GED test by either credit or debit cards.

Step 3: Bring a valid photo ID (driver’s license, state identification card, military ID or Passport) with you on test day.
4. Georgia GED retake policies
You are allowed to retake your GED test to get an expected passing score. More specifically, you can take each subject-area test three times without any waiting period. However, after the third try, you must wait 60-days after their last attempt before you retake your GED test.
If you take your first two retakes within 12 calendar months, you will be charged $20. However, any additional retakes will charge you $40.
5. Georgia GED transcript and diploma
In Georgia, GED holders who enroll in one of the 17 areas funded by the HOPE Career Grant programs might attend technical college with free tuition.
GED graduates may get their high school equivalency credentials or transcripts in the mail within 2-3 weeks from the final test date. You also order duplicate official transcripts or diplomas.
